The Digital Scholarship Group in the Northeastern University Library is excited to announce a cluster hire of three new developer positions: a Data Engineer, a Digital Scholarship Developer, and a Semantic Data Specialist. More detail about all three positions can be found at the DSG site here:

These three positions all contribute to several major collaborative projects and to DSG's long-term development of shared infrastructure for digital scholarship. The positions will remain open till filled, but applications received by April 15 will receive first consideration.

 

The Digital Scholarship Group supports digital modes of research, publication, and collaboration through applied research, systems and tools development, and consultative services. Our team engages with faculty in the digital humanities and quantitative social sciences from across the university, and has become an essential partner for the NULab for Maps, Texts, and Networks, as well as cultural heritage partners in Boston, including the Massachusetts Historical Society and the Boston Public Library.  Current DSG projects include the Boston Research Center, the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project,the Early Carribean Digital Archive, and TEI Archiving Publishing and Access Service (TAPAS), as well as a number of digital archiving projects from the Librarys Archives and Special Collections. The Massachusetts Historical Society is a major historical archive specializing in early American, Massachusetts, and New England history and is the oldest historical society in the United States, having been established in 1791. The DSG and MHS offer a friendly and closely collaborative work environment, and actively foster the professional and intellectual development of all of our colleagues and collaborators, including training opportunities and mentorship.
