The Department of English at Texas A&M University invites applications for an Assistant Professor with primary specialization in the History and Theory of Rhetoric, and with desired specializations in Technical Communication and/or Digital Humanities. A Ph.D. in English or Rhetoric or another related field and evidence of teaching experience are required.  Job responsibilities include teaching (the normal load is 2/2 and includes undergraduate and graduate courses), conducting and publishing scholarly research, and undertaking appropriate academic service. The college is especially interested in candidates who can contribute through their teaching, research, and service to the diversity of the university community.
