The Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities is offering
a full time position in the project "Digital Knowledge Store" which is
funded by the DFG.
We are looking for a scholar coming form the Humanities with a strong
emphasis on Digital Humanities. The position is limited for one year
with the possibility of extension of two more years, depending on a
successful course of the project.
The goal of the project is to further develop the digital knowledge
store of the academy and to establish it in national and international
research landscape.
Duties:
- building up a concept for a metadata scheme for digital resources
- evaluation
- implementation of APIs and webservices
- construction of a metadata repository
Requirements:
- university degree
- experiences in the Digital Humanities, data modelling and XML/XSLT
- experiences with german and international standars and metadata
standards in the field of LIS and DH.
- good knowledge of a programming language
