DIXiT Research grant at Oxford« Torna all'elenco

from digitalhumanities.org IT Services at the University of Oxford would like to announce that applications are now being accepted for a 20 month experienced researcher fellowship position on the DiXiT project funded as part of a Marie Curie Initial Training Network. The post-holder must start on 1 April 2014 and will be responsible for the analysis and improvements of technologies for the creation and publication of digital scholarly editions. They will be familiar with the Guidelines of the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) and be skilled in using related technologies such as XSLT to generate digital scholarly editions from TEI P5 XML source files. The post-holder will contribute to the teaching at the Digital Humanities at Oxford Summer School and the DiXiT TEI training workshop. (depending on employer deductions, personal circumstances, and the exchange rate to be notified by the EC), which includes an annual living allowance and a mobility allowance (to cover the expenses associated with working in a different country). *Eligibility Requirements:* 1) either be in possession of a doctoral degree, independently of the time taken to acquire it, or have at least four years of full-time equivalent research experience; 2) have less than five years of full-time equivalent research experience; 3) not have lived in the UK for more than 12 months during the past 3 years; 4) be willing, during the 20 month post, to undertake a 3 month secondment to King's College London (United Kingdom) and a 3 month secondment to SyncRo Soft Ltd.
